Let’s put our pencils down
and face to face each other.
Let our ears understand twice.
Let our mouths grace once over.
Let’s stop passing notes
folded like footballs.
Let’s hand in hand be
vulnerable respectfully.
Let’s close our test booklets
and study each other.
Let’s not worry about grades,
but graces to pass before passing.
