Emerald Bay

Blues, greens, grays,

I wanted to stay.

Emerald Bay.

Lungs expanded,

Heart bandied

One strand

Of breathless.

Stress left us.

Satin trust.

The ridges.

Stacked edges.

Loving ledges

Offered us seats.

Yes, to see

You and me

Clearly.
