Holding Back

Tear into me,

slit the viaducts

if you have to.

Sandbags under eyes

holding back

emotions.

Is a good cry

an oxymoron?

Fear to feel.

What if I drown?

Will the salt

keep me afloat?

Jesus wept,

this I know,

tear to tears.
